Your videos are amazing! If you like farming or harvesting videos, I look forward to having you visit my channel to have relaxing moments together!
Wow that actual looks fatty, mushy, & yuk 🤑
Can I use skim milk powder instead? Love your videos.
Very authentic you know how to inspire and let us listeners push for what we want. God bless you and great thanks
How much is bacon these days?? I stopped eating ham/bacon/pork after watching Babe, wonder how long that will last because I really want to make these pies... 🤔
As a kiwi , Aussie has the best cuts of pig 👍 free range eggs 💯👋🇳🇿
G'Day mate. Thanks for dropping by, I love my NZ neighbor's especially during cricket season lol
Thank you for this. I know that you made this almost 10 years ago but it was nice to see the entire cut of bacon and it explains how Canadian Bacon is named from removing the loin from the belly. That was pretty cool to learn. Loved how when you opened the lid of the machine that the lid of the pie shell started to rise like a calm shell. The looked good God Bless
Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to watch. I am still trying to put videos up, my camera has a sucky battery with no life to make a good video so saving money to get better stuff.
Great video and updates! I just subscribed! BTW I also have a small gardening channel 🌽🥒🍅🍆🥕🥦🌶
A friend of mine suffered from fibroid for years and only 1 month of herbal treatment plan from #DRMADIDA she was cured, we immediately ordered and use their herpes virus and Tinnitus herbal medication which really did worked. Hi Willow Tassie! Don’t you get so excited to see your veggies grow. Your garden is coming along great. Had fun shopping with you and I could do some damage in that store too. Hope the containers work out for you. Have a blessed day!!
Hi willows garden. There is lots of stuff happening in the garden this year, if i can ever find the footage so i can edit it to share with you all. Its 2.30am here on a stinking hot summer night and can't sleep aaaaand its going to be another hot day today and I'll be cooking all day. Blessings of love to you and yours xx Thanks for taking the time to watch xx
Hi Willow Tassie-Prepper! Beautiful fireplace. I am so glad your ducks are doing good. Don’t hurt your back, raised beds might help you if you can get hubby to build them or someone else. Pallets are a good source of wood. Yummy tomatoes, one of my favorites. Corn and broad beans are good too. Too sweet sidewinder is, your feathered friend. I hope you have a blessed evening, night or day whichever it is for you and your family!
G'day willows garden. I have more videos coming, trying to get 1 a week out until I find a groove that works. I am hating my new camera but it's what I could afford after dropping my other one. It is 9am here in Tassie, just came in from watering my garden, it's going to be a hot one today. Blessings and thank you for watching, there is more to come.
@@NaysKitchen can’t wait to see more. I enjoyed watching ❤️
Looks delicious. I have a pie maker machine so I will try it. Thanks for the video. 😎
So delicious meet pie.. i like it..👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Mine normally turned out slimmy, though thick. Why?
Nice Host I know it yummy
This video still brings me to tears. Just putting out another thank you to all my youtube family that have commented and sent our family prayers, love and wishes it is overwhelmingly appreciated. I am trying to get my channel updated and a working camera so I can share how things are going and make new videos for ya'll . until I can get my camera fixed feel free to walk down memory lane.
Interesting- thanks for sharing!
Pie maker, ? Coz everyone has one eh ?
Hi again. Wondering if you have made cheese of any kind & is there an easy way of doing that plz?
So I tried to upload vid to Willow's Community- but I think it's gone to my RUclips channel instead, sorry.. After I did the powdered milk version (as per your instructions), I had a little spare of the milk, so just added a tbs Greek yoghurt to the saucepan, left it near my wood heater for a few hrs (maybe 8hrs) & the result is amazing- very thick & very yummy! Thanks Willow, couldn't do it without you! :)
your most welcome Merrilyn, I am glad you are finally having success. All you need do now is rinse and repeat. don't stress about the videos
Omg thanks Willow! My 6th attempt at making yoghurt (first using EasiYo thermos & your instructions) & I've finally had a win! I'm so excited, hoping to back it up with a second success right away! Can't wait to try your powdered milk version on my 3rd go with your instructions & using EasiYo thermos! WoW!
G'Day. Thanks for watching, I am so glad it has finally worked for you. NOW, When you make your next tub/bottle/container, if you save some from the batch you just made you won't have to purchase yoghurt ever again. the amount you put aside should be the same amount you used for your first batch. This bit of yoghurt you are putting aside is called your "starter" or "mother" The best tips. Use full cram/full fat milk (or milk powder when you get to it) Dont add sugar or sweeteners while your making yoghurt. add sweeteners and toppings when your ready to eat it. Be prepared to wait, I usually make my yoghurt in the afternoon and let it stand overnight on the counter and open it in the morning. I check to see if its worked just like in the video, take some out for my starter (next batch) then put both in the fridge for 3 or 4 hours then its ready to use. once its been in the fridge for a bit, if you want to you can empty the yoghurt you just made into a mason jar, freeing up your yoghurt container to start another batch if your family eats a lot of yoghurt. feel free to share your success with a picture in the community section of my channel
@@NaysKitchen thanks so much for the awesome tips but I'm not sure how to upload pics on RUclips or how to find your "community channel" ..do you have a link plz?
@@61cheezil when you click on my you tube channel, above the video thats playing is menu tabs click on the one that says community. I believe you can a pictures there.
@@NaysKitchen ok thnx, found it but appears only videos can be uploaded, I only took pics. Will see how goes it with the next batch when it's ready later on!
@@61cheezil ok no worries, good luck, crossing fingers for a good set.
So, I'm jus wondering how many takes you had to do to get it right & have it actually work plz ..(or did you sneakily put ready bought yoghurt in there between takes), honestly & how many failures? I've tried 5 times to make yoghurt so far & had 5 fkn failures, getting pretty sick of it! It's meant to be so damn simple according to those on facey groups that have tried it yet I cannot find ONE method or temperatures that is the same as another one & had about given up until some crazy friend gave me their EasiYo to try (because they were sick of trying to get it to work as well)!..... SO FRUSTRATING!!
Do you think this method is less expensive than buying the jarred minced?
A head of garlic in supermarkets fresh can be $30 or $40 a kilo. your average jar is around $4 or $5 (not in oil) A pack of organic seeds containing 500 seeds is about $2 I grow my own garlic and process it myself. I am just simply showing how I do my garlic.
Is the boiled water poured to the yogurt maker after the boiled milk was cool down
Yes. The milk needs to come down in temp to add the starter culture's otherwise you will kill them and you won't make yoghurt. You will just have a curdled separated mess
It's not cooked in the middle :(
Thanks very much, making it now! Looking good so far. You've made it naturally and simply, without thickening it with thickeners, which do not belong in yoghurt! Tastes great!😱
Can we also use. Big pieces of garlic instead of chopping or mincing?
Hi MJ, i would at least split your garlic in half. the main rule that I was taught was to make sure the garlic is covered well with the oil. so if you use some of the oil in a recipe, replace it with fresh oil to recover the garlic.
So they cut off the whole of the tail and give you just the eye? Back bacon in the UK always has a bit of tail attached, so it's less greasy than streaky but still has a bit of a crispy bit.
Hi thanks for watching. yes they cut the tail off and sell them at different prices. now due to covid, the price of bacon along with most meat has skyrocketed out of control. thanks for stopping by.
Such a tragedy at the beginning, but a beautiful ending. Hope all is well with you and your family Willow and I hope you have a blessed day and Merry Christmas!!❤️🎄
Hi Willows Garden. What happened with Blackys mum/mom was just horrible. I am doing ok. A lot has happened in my little corner of the world but one foot in front of the other. Wishing you and your beautiful family and loved ones a safe and happy festive season.
Does the yogurt have that powdered milk taste to it?
G'Day M-Mom, if you dissolve your powered milk properly it does not go grainy. the powdered milk I use here in Australia really yummy. I find the powdered milk yoghurt is a little sweeter than the regular cows milk yoghurt that I don't have to add any sweetness after the yoghurt is made. it is great in smoothies. thanks for stopping by, have a great day.
Great wow. Thanks.
Thank you for this amazing recipe. Can you also add this on Khal, com. You will be an instant hit on Khal......
G'Day Ved, thank you for stopping by. What is Khal, com?
I would like them, but I don't like runny eggs.
G'Day Rozanne. thanks for stopping by. If your not a fan of runny eggs simply cook the pies a bit longer until they are to your liking.
Can you use vanilla yogurt
G'day Maharani, no you can't use flavoured yoghurt. To make your yoghurt you need a plain yoghurt, I find that a natural pot set yoghurt gives best results. If you want flavoured yoghurt, flavour it after its made and set. Add your own vanilla or honey if you would like a sweeter flavour.
OMG you are the best! I've watched other methods on here and my yoghurt turned out runny so I was having to strain it to get it thick enough. This really saves a step and straining removes the calcium too. I really love your method, now I feel like a pro at it finally!
G'Day Melissa. Thanks for stopping by and I am glad you found help in my video. If you are finding your yoghurt on the runny side the temp of the milk is to hot and killing the culture or its to cold and the culture is dying so its bacteria won't reproduce. just like with yeast in making bread, yoghurt loves a warm happy place. a good yoghurt needs time to cultivate, then time to set, then refrigerate. if you eat lots of yoghurt I suggest to have 2 batches One that your eating and one thats setting. I have a goats milk yoghurt video and my first yoghurt video thats goes through commercial starters V's my natural pot set starter. enjoy making yoghurt, once you get the temp right for your area, the sky's the limit
@@NaysKitchen Great, thanks for all the pro tips, wish I had know all this years ago, would have saved a fortune!
@@melissagreen_ your most welcome. I am working on a plant based yoghurt and a nut based yoghurt for those wanting a non dairy version. I am also trying to organise a Q&A video with a yoghurt 101 video to hopefully answer a lot of the common questions. you will have to post a picture on the community page of my you tube to show me how it turns out. god bless, happy yoghurt making
@@NaysKitchen That's great, there will be a big demand for non dairy options for sure. A Q&A would be great, there are a lot of people who find the yoghurt doesn't go to plan and could use that, a lot of RUclipsrs don't cover enough of what can go wrong and how to fix it. One thing I have found is that the SECOND starter, not the one made from the store bought tub, came out way better and much thicker. Perseverance! I will have to post to your page once I get my old camera working.
I'm on my 6th go tonight (first time using the EasiYo yoghurt maker! Getting sick of all the failures & so many different milks/methods/& temperature suggestions etc but still no luck yet. Interesting that you say boil the milk coz most say don't boil the milk or it kills the good bacteria...confused much!
Excellent great recipe love it ❤❤❤🌹 plz give the sizes of both the round cricle shape cutter. Awaiting Thanks
G'Day Nazir. I am glad you liked the video. if you get a pie maker the cutters should come with it. If you are using a pan of your own try using a knife to trace around the pan for the top of the pie and place the dough in the bottom of the pan and trim edges for the base.
Thanks for your prompt reply. Dear I don't have pie maker you just give me the diameter of both the ring cutter which you have used I will make it manually. I think you understand my point. Awaiting Thanks
Okay Thanks for not answering my question. Stay Blessed
@@nazirahmed2581 it's 1am in Tasmania. I will see to it in the morning.
@@NaysKitchen Okay Thanks so kind of you. I will wait ❤🌹
What is the name of the white yogurt maker? Thank you.
G'Day Kathleen, it's called an easy yo yogurt maker. Thanks for stopping by, have a great day
Why do all ozzies houses look like they are from the 1960
Because thats when a lot of them were built mate. When the Aussie soldiers came home from ww2 and later on after the Vietnam war they couldn't get a job or hold down a job because of the things they had seen and what had been done to them in war camps. so the government set out platoons of men who had trades and skills before the wars with those that didn't and set out land to be cleared. once land was cleared the trees were sent to the mill pits to be turned into lumber then brought back to be turned into the studs and bracing for the houses. when we renovated our house we found the names of the soldiers that built our house along with a letter nailed between 2 rafters. The letter was written by one of the soldiers wives because neither of them could read or write very well apart from there names and signature. My house may not be modern like a lot of todays pre-fab shit boxes of today. BUT, my house is as home grown as you can get, right down to the soldiers boot laces that built it. my house has a history, a story, a past and no stickers saying "made in china" lol. my kitchen doesn't look like this any more it has been renovated a second time.
How about using salt and vinegar. With my method, there is no oil or sugar. My method also has a lot fewer calories.
Looks yummy! Have you ever tried curry and rice pies...? I used to get them from a bakery on shopping day, curry & rice/meat pie and a carton of Iced Coffee, oh how I miss those! Have to make my own iced coffee/chocolate milk here as it's the nastiest stuff out, don't know what they do with it but it's horrid! Edited to add, on your meat pie video you said you were going to make the pastry for the pies, but you/ve been away for a while, (hope everything is ok your end...?) Do you make a short crust pastry? Thanks for sharing your recipes it great, thank you again.
G'Day PJ, I have had many curried pies. I love the curried chicken rice pie I make. Thanks for dropping by to my channel
@@NaysKitchen Hows about a recipe video Wilow....for the curry pie? Yes you are right about the bacon, no round and really thin cut as well, not so much the thickness of Aussie bacon, there is a slightly thicker one.
powder milk took 2 full days to make it it was sweet and so yummy!,see u
